Coomera Regional Security Team has serviced the estate for many years now. During this time, Coomera Waters has grown considerably and the service provided by the Security Team has developed in keeping with that growth.

The Security service provided is varied in nature and includes (but is not limited to):

  • Patrolling the streets, parks and facilities
  • Protection of common property
  • Alarm monitoring and response
  • CCTV operation and planning
  • Adherance to parking by-laws
  • Incident response and management
  • General assistance.

Security officers patrol the estate's streets, facilities and common areas 24 hours a day monitoring a range of issues including property protection, safety and adherence to by-laws plus the identification of suspicious persons and activities occurring around the estate.

 

The alarm monitoring station is provided through the current Body Corporate fee structure. There may be initial individual costs for setting up the service (call BLUi 0424 160 068 or 1300 941 946) and ongoing costs for maintenance (carried out by a technician of your choice) but the ongoing service of monitoring, response and management carried out by the CW Security Team is covered by your Body Corporate fees. The Security Team monitors the alarms and responds through combining standard procedures and individual instructions from the residents based on their specific security needs. Once a residence is online with this system, the monitoring station can perform regular checks to ensure each system is operating correctly as well as responding to any alarm.


In addition to burglar alarms, the monitoring station also receives reports from your system when the mains power has been interrupted or the system has been tampered with, prompting Security officers to check on the welfare of residents. Currently, panic, smoke and medical alarms are not monitored. An off-site monitoring company would be required for residents requiring these specialist services.

Be vigilant! Coomera Waters has suffered a number of break and enter crimes in the past serving as a reminder that residents need to secure their homes and cars as no estate is impervious to an attack by thieves, even with 24 hour security.

Above all, the Security Team is here to provide a service to the residents in assisting to maintain the image of the estate and promote growth through providing a safe and secure environment for all residents and their visitors to enjoy.
